Wheel thrown vase, decorated with Heliconia motifs using the studio’s signature glazing technique. This is the second in a series of three explorations that I am doing in order to start elaborating bigger ones.
I love how exuberant and elegant this piece turned out. Perfect in its imperfection. I love the balance of matte and gloss glazes – and the color combination is one of my favorites.
